Do you suffer from eyestrain from sitting in front of a computer too long? Do your eyes get tired from too much social media? Do you need to squint to see things from far away? Do your prescription lenses give you headaches?
If any of the situations above (or anything similar) apply to you, then this eye yoga and massage workshop is for you.
We are offering you the opportunity to learn to relieve your eye strain and fatigue and improve your vision naturally with eye yoga exercises and massage techniques in this Workshop.
This is a yoga class, so I’d like to point out that even though I will be focusing on eye yoga exercises and massage techniques during our time together, there are three important elements of which we must always remain mindful of during our practice. Those elements are the Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing), and Dhyana (meditation). It is important to maintain good posture, take efficient full breaths, and create and keep a calm mind during your practice.
There are no requirements to take this class; all levels are welcome! While there are no requirements, I do recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and keep a glass of water and a damp, washcloth on the side for use at the end of the workshop. Life is unpredictable, but I also recommend you be in a quiet space with no distractions during the workshop, if at all possible. I also recommend that the class be viewed on a larger screen, like that of a pc, laptop, or even an ipad or tablet, rather than a phone, but not necesssary.
The goal of these classes is to teach you the exercises and techniques that you'll need to create your own personal eye yoga routine that you can practice whenever and wherever you want. This class is recurring, every last Wednesday of the month, and every class will build upon the previous class, introducing at least one new eye yoga, massage, and acupressure technique every month for you to add to your personal repertoire.
